WARTS AND VERRUCAS
Warts:

Verrucas:

AGE/SUN SPOTS

Milia

Milia are small, white or yellowish bumps that typically appear on the skin, most commonly on the face. They occur when keratin, a protein found in the skin, becomes trapped under the surface.

SEBORRHETIC KERATOSIS
Seborrheic Keratosis

What it is: A common, benign (non-cancerous) skin growth that appears in middle-aged or older adults.

Appearance:

Waxy, scaly, or rough texture.

Tan, brown, black, or skin-colored.

Looks like it’s “stuck on” the skin.

Causes

Not caused by sun exposure and not contagious.
CHERRY HEAMAGIOMAS
Cherry Hemangiomas

What they are: Small, bright red or purple spots on the skin caused by clusters of blood vessels.

Appearance: Smooth or slightly raised, usually round.

Common Locations: Torso, arms, legs, or shoulders.

Who gets them: Common in adults, especially over 30, and often increase with age.
Are They Harmful?

They are benign (non-cancerous) and typically painless.
